Our mission

Our mission is to accelerate the sustainability transition.

Our belief is that accessing science can create massive value – for individual actors, and for society.

Our vision is a society that is intelligent in stewarding the biosphere, our home on planet Earth.

Meet the founders

Peder and Gustaf Folke have spent a combined 20 years in tier 1 strategy consulting and in senior business management. Having grown up with leading sustainability academics, they are in a unique position to bridge communication challenges between academia and the private sector.

In 2022, they decided to dedicate themselves to this task and launched Biosphere Intelligence, with the goal of rethinking how science is packaged, and radically shortening the time it takes for planetary insights to reach people and businesses.

As Associate Partner at Material Economics by McKinsey & Company, Peder supported numerous executive teams on how to navigate the sustainability transition, and was part of developing Sweden’s method for climate tracking. He previously also worked at Bain & Company and holds a MSc in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.
